How to Have Acne Free Skin

There are many, many products available to give you acne free skin. There is a lot you can do to cure your acne without spending an arm and a leg.

First, eat a well balanced, healthy diet to give your skin the nutrients it needs. Skin specialists agree a healthy balanced diet will go a long way in improving your skin. Caffeine, sugar and carbohydrates can help to stimulate hormones that cause your sebaceous glands to produce oil. Reducing the caffeine, sugar and carbs in your diet will benefit bothe your body and your skin. Adding fruits, vegetables and healthy seeds and nuts to your daily diet will do so much to improve not only your acne but also the tone of your skin.

Drink plenty of water to help maintain the suppleness and elasticity of your skin. Water is a must for healthy skin. Drinking lots of water helps your body flush toxins and eliminate them. The kidneys need water to help in this function and also the skin in the way of perspiration. Our bodies are plagued by a build up of toxins that can be easily flushed away by drinking adequate amounts of water.

Your body needs enough water to effeciently flush toxins and carry away waste. It is recommended that you drink 6 to 8 glasses of water daily to maintain optimum health. It may be easier to reach your goal of 64 oz. if you carry water with you. Your skin will reward you by glowing with health when you get enough water.

Improve you circulation by getting exercise on a daily basis. Make it a habit to exercise daily. All you need is thirty minutes 5 days a week. Your body will more effeciently clear toxins with increased circulation. Oxygen and nutrients are better delivered when you have better circulation as well. Acne can also be intensified with stress. Exercise reduces stress which is another added benefit and tool in our fight against acne flare ups and in becoming acne free.

Protect your skin from the sun and harsh weather. Wear sunblock everyday. Choose a sunblock that protects against both UVA and UVB rays. Protect the sensitive areas like your face by wearing a large wide brimmed hat.

Make sure to get enough rest. Your body needs rest to repair damage to your skin. Lack of sleep can cause all kinds of problems including acne breakouts. Going to bed at the same time every night makes it easier to keep on a good schedule of rest. You can’t “catch up” on missed sleep. Make sleep as important as exercise and nutrition.

These changes will not only improve your skin but also your health in general.  Making small changes to your daily routine over time will benefit your skin and you’ll have acne free skin within weeks of implementing these tips.
