My acne started when I was in high school and continued into my adult life. I purchased all sorts of over the counter acne products and tried some prescribed acne medication that had my face burning like it was on fire but never the less none of them gave me clear pores.

Today you see new acne treatments appearing all the time claiming they will have you acne free in only a few days. Some of them state they will get rid of acne overnight and I’ve even heard some state you can see the acne disappearing after a one time use. I wasted a lot of money on almost all types of acne treatment solutions I could find.

After an appointment with the dermatologist I was give the news that I have naturally oily skin and there probably wasn’t going to be an acne solution that could solve the problem. Hearing it from someone in dermatology I decided to toss in the towel and just get over it. I would just have a life with adult acne. I collected all the acne cream and acne skin care products that had were stored in my drawer and placed them into the garbage.

For years I lived without any acne control leaving my face and self esteem in the gutters. It was probably the most embarrassing problem that I had to deal with in my life.
